Malcom Little, Malik el-Shabazz, otherwise known as Malcom X was a vocal advocate for Black empowerment. I purposefully chose an image of Malcom X smiling as a juxtaposition to the Martin Luther King portrait where MLK is looking angry, the opposite of what is often portrayed in mainstream media.
