Elizabeth Eckford is one of the Little Rock Nine, who desegregated Little Rock Central High School. She will forever be remembered by a photo, taken by photojournalist Will Counts, of her trying to walk into the front door with an angry mob at her heels. Ms. Eckford an American civil rights activist.
